Funeral Help
إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
"Verily we belong to God and verily to him do we return."
The primary aim of Al-Qiyas Welfare is to provide financial support for funerals for the poor and needy.
Our aim is to help low income families and those in need who cannot afford funerals for a deceased family member as well as those who have died alone with no one to care for them to cover essential costs of a burial.
We provide the shroud (kafan) with other essential items for funeral and burial according to Islamic tradition.
In times of bereavement, arranging a funeral for a loved one can be distressful and emotional and financing the funeral expenses can add to the distress.
No one should have to worry about how to cover the costs of a funeral for their loved one.
We help and support families who have lost loved ones and aim to relieve their stress and financial burden at this difficult and emotional time.
الَّذينَ إِذا أَصابَتهُم مُصيبَةٌ قالوا إِنّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنّا إِلَيهِ راجِعونَ
أُولٰئِكَ عَلَيهِم صَلَواتٌ مِن رَبِّهِم وَرَحمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُهتَدونَ
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
